ABOUT ME
I grew up in Toronto, and graduated from UTS and the University of Toronto (University College) before obtaining my MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1970.
Returning to Southern Ontario, I pursued a career in Sales and Marketing in the Packaging and Printing Industries, before joining Goodyear Canada in 1980. Over the course of a 24-year career with Goodyear, I held a number of diverse assignments including Corporate Planning, Marketing Research, Environmental Affairs, and for nearly ten years I managed and directed the real estate portfolio. After taking early retirement from Goodyear in 2004, I completed my licensing education in 2005 and have pursued a career in commercial real estate brokerage since then.
A lifelong advocate of continuing education, I completed the Certificate Program in Environmental Management at Ryerson University in 1996, and obtained my Designation as a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) in 2006. In 2010, I was awarded the Susan J. Groeneveld Scholarship, and was a member of the Class of 2010 at the Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy at the CCIM Institute.
I’ve been very involved with the CCIM Central Canada Chapter since the late 1990s, and was the 2009 and 2010 Chapter President. I am also active on the Board of the Penn-Wharton Alumni Association of Toronto, the Member Communications Committee of the Toronto Real Estate Board, and the Chapter Services Committee of the CCIM Institute.
